Hey, I’m Justin.
I’m a Montana-based photographer drawn to real moments, wild light, and stories that feel honest. Whether I’m photographing a wedding, an outdoor adventure, or a family session, my goal is always the same: to create images that feel natural, timeless, and true to who you are.
I’m not big on stiff posing or forced smiles. My approach is relaxed and documentary-inspired. I focus on movement, connection, laughter, and those brief, in-between moments that often end up meaning the most. You’ll get just enough direction to feel comfortable, while still leaving room for the day to unfold naturally.
When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me outdoors. I have a deep love for fly fishing, exploring the Montana backcountry, and spending time with my family. Raising my daughter is the greatest adventure of my life, and being a dad has made me more patient, playful, and comfortable photographing kids and families.
At the end of the day, I want your photos to feel like your life actually felt in that moment. Not overly polished. Not fake. Just real, beautiful, and worth remembering.
