Summer goes fast in Missoula. One week you are floating the river or hiking up Blue Mountain, and the next you are digging through closets looking for backpacks and new shoes. If you have been meaning to get updated photos of your kids before they head back to school, this is your reminder, and your chance.

This August, I am opening a limited number of Back to School Mini Sessions right here in the Missoula area. They are short, simple, and designed to fit into a busy end-of-summer schedule without asking for a full evening of your time.

Full family sessions are wonderful, but they are not always what you need. Sometimes you just want a few real, current photos of your kids before the school year takes over. That is exactly what these sessions are built for.

Session Details
Sweet little smiles and soft summer light.
Dates: Tuesday, August 11 and Thursday, August 13
Times: Both days offer the same time slots: 4:00, 4:30, 5:00, 5:30, 6:30, 7:00, 7:30, and 8:00 PM, with a short break between the 5:30 and 6:30 sessions.
Price: $125

10 edited digital images
A private online Pic-Time gallery with download and personal print rights
Gallery delivered by August 25
Location: TBD in the Missoula area. I choose each mini session location based on light, easy access, and a smooth flow between families, and I will share the exact spot with you once you book.
If you fall in love with more than 10 images, additional photos are available for $15 each, or you can upgrade to the full edited gallery for $75.
The tiniest moments are always worth remembering.

Spots are limited on both dates, and sessions are first come, first served. Once a time slot is booked, it is no longer available, so if you have a specific time in mind, I would grab it sooner rather than later.
A Few Tips Before Your Session
Because these sessions move quickly, a little bit of prep goes a long way.
Keep outfits simple. Solid colors, soft layers, denim, and clothing that feels like your kids usually dress works better than anything too matchy or stiff. Since the session is short, I would skip outfit changes and pick one look that you love.
A little hand to hold before the next big step.
Plan for real moments, not posed ones. Some of the best images from mini sessions come from genuine interaction, a sibling hug, a laugh, a kid being a kid. I will guide you through the fifteen minutes, but the more relaxed everyone is, the better the photos turn out.
Arrive a few minutes early. Since sessions are booked back to back, arriving on time helps make sure you get the full fifteen minutes.
